Please Note: iHort Loose Medium contains trichoderma. Trichoderma is a beneficial fungus that has been shown to promote plant growth, improve root structure and health, enhance seed germination, and even increase photosynthesis efficiency, flowering and yield quality. Trichoderma will also out-compete harmful fungus and molds that could otherwise harm your plants. While trichoderma is typically not visible in Q Plugs, it can occasionally appear as a white “mold” on the surface of the plug. This is normal and is a sign that your plants are in good health.
