Gecko Grow’s WIN YOUR PURCHASE!(the “Contest”)
July 16-31, 2021
1. GENERAL
- This Contest shall be conducted on-line by 10970115 Canada Ltd. (“Gecko Grow”) for customers to enter. A customer is referred to as “You and “Your”.
- The contest runs from July 16, 2021 at 12:00 a.m. – July 31, 2021 at 11:59:00 p.m. PST. (“Contest Period”)
Ways to enter:
- If You finalize a sale of product purchased online at https://geckogrow.ca during the Contest Period, using any payment method, You will be automatically entered to win Your purchase on the Draw Date.
- No purchase necessary method of entry:
- To enter without making a purchase, you must mail your Name, Address, Email Address and Phone Number to Gecko Grow at PO Box 27083 Tuscany PO, Calgary, AB, T3L 2Y1. Mail-in entries must be received by Gecko Grow before the end of the Contest Period.
- Limit of one mail-in entry per address. Each valid purchase placed during the Contest Period will result in one entry.
- Any attempt to manipulate the Contest will result in You being disqualified.
- Odds of winning decrease as the number of mail-in Entries are made and as the purchases increase during the Contest Period.
- Draw Date: Monday, August 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. MST
2. ELIGIBILITY
- The contest is open to all residents of Canada except residents of Quebec, employees, representatives and agents of Gecko Grow, and all people employed as contractors or sub-contractors by Gecko Grow, and their immediate family members living in the same household.
- You agree to abide by the Rules as set out herein, subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. It is a condition of eligibility that the winner authorizes Gecko Grow to announce and publish his/her name, without remuneration or consideration, in any forthcoming publicity.
3. PRIZE WINNERS
There will be one Win Your Purchase Winner drawn from all valid entries received during the Contest Period!
- The Win Your Purchase Winner will have the full price of their purchase, including GST refunded to their original method of payment to a maximum of $200. Any Winners who paid by Interac e-transfer will receive an Interac e-transfer to the email address used to place the order. A non-purchase participant will receive a $25 coupon code to use at https://geckogrow.ca.
- An Eligible Winner who elects to not agree to the Rules will forfeit their prize and another winner will be selected from remaining eligible orders.
4. DRAW PROCEDURES
All eligible purchases will be assigned a number beginning at 1 based on the order the entries were received. Mail-in entries will be randomly assigned a number beginning at the number one higher than the last number assigned to eligible purchases.
A random number generator will be used to identify the winning entry.
5. DECLARING THE PRIZE WINNERS
The Eligible Winner will be contacted by phone or email.
The Eligible Winner whose name has been selected on the Draw Date must:
- i) Be over the age of majority in their Province or Territory of residence;
- ii) Within ten (10) business days following the Contact Date, correctly answer a time-limited, arithmetical skill-testing question without the assistance of any person or mechanical/recording device(s). The skill-testing process shall be administered over the phone;
- iii) Should the Eligible Winner fail to answer the skill-testing question correctly, that Eligible Winner shall be disqualified and the skill-testing question shall be administered to the next Alternate Winner.
By accepting a Prize the winner agrees to Gecko Grow’s use of their names, city, province or territory of residence for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation.
6. ADDITIONAL TERMS
By participating, You agree that: a) these Official Contest Rules and Gecko Grow’s records of the draw or any other aspect of this contest shall be final and conclusive in all respects; and b) release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless Gecko Grow and its trustees, directors, officers, and employees from any liability, claims, damages, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever which they, their heirs, successors, assigns, executors, or administrators may now or hereafter have directly or indirectly against them or any of them in respect of or relating to the Contest and/or the acceptance or use, misuse, or possession of any prize.
7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Gecko Grow shall not be responsible for print or typographical errors in any Contest-related materials; for transactions that are posted late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction, or mail that is not delivered due to any reason whatsoever. Gecko Grow reserves the right to amend or vary the Official Contest Rules, including the imposition or addition of new rules which are deemed by Gecko Grow in its sole discretion necessary for business efficacy.
8. PRIVACY POLICY
Gecko Grow will use the contact information provided in contest entries for administration of this Contest. We may communicate with You for any of these purposes by telephone, text messaging, email or other electronic means, mail, and other methods. By entering this Contest, You acknowledge and agree to give permission to Gecko Grow to collect, use and disclose Your personal information in accordance with Gecko Grow’s privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”).
